Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director and artistic director of the newly formed theatre firm Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. As Artistic director of SSC she served as the composer/music supervisor for the company as well as a Text teacher. For her last year she was the lighting designer and director for SSC's King Lear. She had been in charge of the production from a group and in this year's production began her first directorial experience. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. In addition to acting, she has had roles on a multitude of game-based show. The Post family, which includes her two sisters and daughter were raised with her father, a scientist Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School is where she went to school and was involved in cheerleading. She was briefly a student at Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post was married prior the wedding to Stephen Knox. Since 1982 she has been engaged to writer and actor Michael A. Ross with who has twin daughters. Post she is an outstanding actor and a wonderful wife and mother and mother, has become an inspirational role model to several Hollywood celebrities.
